Our Lady of Good Counsel Library

Project Description

The project involved upgrading an existing library building at Our Lady of Good Counsel in Gatton. The refurbishment aimed to create a more engaging learning environment with the incorporation of flexible spaces, independent zones for retreat, and small settings for team work. The floor plan was reconfigured through the introduction of a mezzanine, spiral stair, Juliet balcony and open floor concept, which has improved visibility and maximized the volume of the existing building to create a light, bright, welcoming atmosphere. This considerate renovation has rejuvenated and extended the life of the school’s existing infrastructure.
