Project Description

This project involved the careful relocation and restoration of a historic chapel from Woogooloo, Queensland, to its new home at Xavier Catholic College in Hervey Bay. The refurbishment focused on creating an accessible and inviting space, while honoring the chapel’s rich heritage. After being delicately transported, the chapel underwent restoration, including the removal of lead paint. The exterior was beautifully rejuvenated with soft blue hues, capturing the serene coastal setting beside the sea. This thoughtful renovation has preserved the chapel’s timeless charm, transforming it into a welcoming space for the community.
